CHRISTMAS TOY APPEAL – OUR DONATION
We are pleased to announce that this year, we will be donating children’s gifts to the Birmingham Irish Association’s Christmas Toy Appeal 2020, in place of our usual secret Santa gift giving.
This time of the year can be particularly challenging for a lot of families, especially with the unprecedented number of changes that have occurred as a result of the pandemic. With Christmas fast approaching and extra demands on family budgets, there will be children out there unable to receive any gifts this year due to family finance troubles impacting thousands across Birmingham. At Telephone Europe we believe that every child deserves to experience the magic of Christmas, and the Birmingham Irish Association’s toy appeal steps in to do this in a year when many family budgets have been hit harder than ever.
Supporting the families of Birmingham when they need it the most.
Each member of our staff has donated at least one toy for a child, with the purpose to give back to our community, and give everyone the Christmas they deserve. We are happy to be in a position where we can support the children of Birmingham to make every child’s Christmas as near to normal as possible.
We began buying gifts at the beginning of November, and have definitely felt the Christmas Spirit in the office watching the pile of presents under the tree grow by the day. It’s a honour to support the Birmingham Irish Association’s Toy Appeal, and we commend them on the terrific job they’re doing to support children currently in need. We are very excited to work together to help families celebrate the wonder of Christmas.
On Monday 30th November, we made a short trip down to St Anne’s Club in Digbeth to drop off all of our present donations. It was amazing walking in and seeing all the amazing presents that have already been donated, and it was great being able to add to the pile.
